Immigration Attorney The candidate will assist results-driven team with representing clients in immigration proceedings. Responsibilities: Conduct initial case assessment; Investigate facts by taking statements and interviewing clients; Employ discovery devices to gain information and develop strategies; Manage clients legal conflict effectively and efficiently; Prepare and file legal documents; Confidently present court cases to judges and juries; Review and respond to court pleadings; Perform and oversee negotiations; Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients; Manage a collection of necessary client documents; Support other attorneys by assisting with immigration matters; Follow company guidelines and applicable laws and regulations; Represent the company professionally and ethically. Juris Doctor degree preferred. Valid Attorney license in Nebraska required. Able to speak Spanish and English required. 2+ years of experience representing individuals in litigation required. 2+ years of experience with immigration law preferred. 1+ year(s) of experience with research preferred. Extremely detail-oriented, goal-driven and organized required. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Ability to operate in a high-pressure environment required. Doctorate required. License: Nebraska Attorney required. Spanish required.
