Corporate Paralegal The candidate must have 2+ years of experience working as a paralegal in a corporate law practice or a related practice area. More experienced candidates are welcome and should apply. Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a propensity for software and technology based projects. Must have experience and comfort navigating online filings and databases as well as other software or technology based programs necessary in the day-to-day operations of firm s corporate department. Should have experience drafting entity formation documents and other documentation related to corporate governance. Typical job duties include preparing and filing documents with the state corporation commissions, preparing and filing applications for federal tax ID numbers, assisting attorneys with management and organization of due diligence and closing checklist documentation in sale/acquisition transactions, preparing closing binders following closing of such a transaction, and ongoing management of general corporate records for our firm s extensive list of corporate clients, including annual filings. A bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university is required, and a paralegal degree/certificate is preferred.
