Associate Attorney-Energy The candidate should have 2-3 years of transactional, litigation, regulatory or other noteworthy experience in the electric utility and/or natural gas industries, with preference given to familiarity with municipal utilities, rural electric cooperatives, and/or state utility commissions. Must have excellent research, writing and oral communication skills. Must have experience, understanding or involvement in one or more of the following: Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), rate-making and tariff issues, energy markets, regional transmission organizations, NERC compliance, and state utility commissions. Experience in federal environmental regulation and rural broadband communication is considered.
