Attorney Development and Recruitment Assistant Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support to Chicago ADR Management.. Provide project support for development, compensation/HRIS, and recruitment teams. Generate ADR reports and tracks statistics as needed. Coordinate logistics for ADR initiatives (including reserve space, create and distribute invitations, monitor RSVPs, prepare table tents, name tags and guest lists, prepare, sort, duplicate and distribute materials, and host registration tables). Assist with on-boarding process for fall associates and lateral attorneys (including scheduling, forms collection, and file creation). Assist with collection and posting of training materials to ADR intranet; collects all training recordings and archives materials on DVD/CD. Assist with coordination of all Chicago office training events; updates on-line firm calendar with training and summer program events. Support practice area training initiatives. Assist with implementation of attorney mentoring initiatives. Support Chicago office attorney evaluation process. Assist with law school recruiting including on- and off-site recruiting events and preparation of information packets for on-campus and in-office interviews; assists with collection of interview comments and with scheduling callback interviews. Register for OCI and maintains checklist monitoring all facets of OCI process; maintains OCI and law school files; monitors Simplicity for interview schedule updates and resume availability; downloads and distributes schedules and resumes. Distribute materials to OCI teams/interviewers regarding logistics, reservations, and other details of schedule; prepares and ships OCI materials to law schools. Work with Marketing Department on advertisement specs for law school materials; handles check requests for school contributions and donations; maintains law school contributions and events chart. Assist Recruitment Administrator and Recruitment Coordinator with candidate materials as needed; backs Recruiting Assistant with LawCruit data entry as needed. Support the compensation/HRIS areas by running basic reports, building and distributing spreadsheets, processing administrative paperwork and filing. Assist with other ADR projects as requested and participates in multi-office development, compensation/HRIS, and recruitment initiatives as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 1+ years' prior work experience that involves analytical work, event planning, recruiting, coordinating candidate interviews, and handling logistics for training programs. Law firm or professional services environment experience a strong plus. Typing of 45 WPM preferred. Proficient with MS Office suite (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Must be able to create Excel formulas and perform functions such as VLOOKUP. Database experience and statistical analysis ability preferred. Familiarity with Micron LawCruit and CE Manager, viDesktop, and PeopleSoft a plus. Experience with applicant tracking, on-campus recruiting, and meeting and CLE a plus. Must be customer service oriented. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Requires high degree of initiative and solid work ethic with strong ability to work independently. Must be a team player willing to make contributions wherever necessary. Ability to juggle multiple projects, work with vendors and staff. Strong project management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion required.
