Legal Secretary The candidate will be maintaining and managing the calendar. Filing court documents (primarily state court). Drafting and responding to written discovery. Obtaining, compiling and analyzing documentation of damages (such as medical records, bills and loss of income documents). Coordinating and assisting with preparation of depositions and medical examinations. Scheduling CourtCall appearances. Serving defendants. Drafting some legal documents/pleadings. Candidate will be expected to provide back-up administrative assistance to fellow employees. Should have 3-5 years of Civil litigation experience. Experience with Abacus preferred.
