Junior Trademark Paralegal The candidate will handle electronic filings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), including trademark applications, Statements of Use, Extensions of Time, Declarations of Use (also in combination with a Declaration of Incontestability or Registration Renewal Application), Section 7 Amendment Requests, and Responses to Office Actions. Record documents at USPTO affecting the chain of title for U.S. and international trademarks. Prepare and manage client dockets. Should have two years of experience with USPTO electronic filings. Ability to assess the validity of specimens of use. Strong attention to detail. Strong writing and speaking skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the firm's attorneys and clients. Strong time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and client expectations. Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills including the ability to extract, manipulate, summarize and report on large quantities of data; knowledge of docketing systems software a plus.
