This New England based firm has a Washington DC post that is notable for its attorneys. Well connected and well credentialed, many these attorneys have held prestigious posts in the federal government. The Washington office remains very much a small, branch office, but has the foundation on which to grow.
Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will be organizing and coordinating all phases of commercial property acquisition activities, drafting documents including affidavits, easements, deeds and other real property related documents, conducting all phases of title and survey work, participating in commercial closings (including reviewing leases, tenant estoppels, executed contracts, due diligence and loan documents), communicating with clients, and responding promptly with the ability to successfully prioritize multiple tasks in a fast pace environment. Must have experience in a full service law firm and/or applicable educational background. Previous experience with corporate governance and/or probate estate administration is desired. Ability to act as liaison between internal and external attorneys, governmental authorities, paralegals, vendors, lenders, tenants and property owners in the closing and post-closing process of commercial real estate, as well as have strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail is required. Understanding of the role of a Real Estate Paralegal within a full-service law firm environment is must.
