Litigation Attorney The candidate will handle cases in the areas of premises liability, negligent security, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, medical malpractice, commercial disputes, business litigation, and more. You will have the opportunity to build your skill set, including conducting depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and interacting with clients. Collegial, open-door atmosphere fosters a strong sense of teamwork and community while, still allowing attorneys to work independently. Represent clients in court or before government agencies. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Review and assess medical records, depositions and other documents,, Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law, Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Understanding of all applicable ethical duties. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school required,. Active license to practice law in Nevada required; Member in good standing of the NV bar required. 3+ years experience in civil litigation preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to organize and prioritize workload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Time management and organizational skills are required.
