Attorney Recruiting Resources Assistant The candidate will be responsible to provide operational support to Attorney Recruiting team on tasks related to lateral and student recruitment and the Summer Associate Program. Coordinates expense process for department, which includes payments and reimbursements to vendors, department staff and recruits. Coordinate vendor contract review and approval process for department events and projects. Coordinate internal and external negotiations as needed to meet department objectives. Assists with preparation and distribution of monthly and annual outcome reports, and assists with statistics projects as needed. Assist with updates and sharing of resources (e.g., department knowledge management site, marketing templates and correspondence templates) for firm wide members of the department. Assist with collection of data and responses for internal and external surveys. Performs general administrative duties including receiving/responding to department inquires and generating correspondence. Assists with inter-department projects as needed. Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others. Manage Firm resources responsibly. Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 2 years' related experience. Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems is necessary. Knowledge of Firm operation, policies and procedures is essential. Ability to understand and handle basic vendor contracts and articulately discuss the terms is required. Ability to process expenses in an accurate and thorough manner is compulsory. Ability to compile and draft statistics is needed. Knowledge of Firm operation, policies and procedures is critical. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing are must. Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities is necessary. Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality while organizing and prioritizing work is critical. Must have ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team is essential. Must be flexible to travel and adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.
