Washington, D.C. office seeks a technology specialist II with 3+ years of related experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing high quality customer support including installing, configuring, repairing and upgrading desktop hardware, printers, software and peripherals. Additional responsibilities include VoIP phone/voicemail administration; desktop/printer and software troubleshooting; basic file server administration; equipment inventory maintenance; video conference, computer and network set up and other projects as requested. Previous experience with internal configurations of chassis-based closet electronics, personal and laptop computers; network protocols specifically TCP/IP, printers and peripherals; hardware and software troubleshooting procedures and new software installation is required. Hands on experience with Windows 2003/XP; Microsoft Office XP/2003 and Outlook XP/2003. Cisco IPT phone experience is a plus. Certification in one or more of the following; A+, Net+, MCDST, CCNA, MCSE and MOUS are highly recommended. Previous law firm experience is strongly desired. Some travel will be required.
