Legal Secretary - Insurance Defense The candidate's duties include administrative office duties as well as opening and processing mail, calendaring, filing, scheduling depositions, preparation of client correspondence, processing of vendor bills, preparation of pleadings and discovery. 3-5 years of previous legal secretary work required. Ability to type 65+ wpm required. Ability to effectively communicate both oral and in written form required. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, address immediate concerns and manage expectations required. Excellent word processing skills utilizing Microsoft Word, iManage, Compulaw and Excel required. Experience with e-filings with state and federal courts, trial preparation required. Basic knowledge of Legal Terminology required. Experience in insurance defense/insurance coverage and bad faith a plus.
