Legal Secretary Duties: Open to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasks. Document management and organization, saving to network, indexing files. Assembling motions and other pleadings (including assembling of exhibits, transcripts and other pertinent documents). Drafting standard pleadings (answers, RJIs, bills of particulars, etc). Drafting and responding to standard discovery demands (interrogatories, requests to produce documents, etc). Schedule conferences and depositions. Manage bills for third party vendors, process check requests and follow up with accounting.
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree. 1 3 years' general litigation experience, in NY State and Federal courts Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment.
