Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will handle all aspects of acquisition, sale and refinancing transactions for both residential and commercial real estate. Will manage document collection in each transaction. Handle the review, analysis and clearing of lien searches, title reports and surveys. Prepare closing statements and closing binders for all clients; buyers and sellers. Business formations including Limited Liability Companies, Corporations, Partnership and other documents for filing and recording at county and state level. Prepare ACRIS documents for closings as well as Deeds, FIRPTAs, Affidavits in Lieu of Registrations. Research properties online using websites such as nyc.gov., department of buildings and HPD for violations, tax liens, and UCCs filings. Perform co-op transfer agent duties including preparation of stock certificates, lost stock affidavits and lost lease affidavits and conduct closings.
