Litigation Paralegal Duties: Will review, analyze and summarize medical records, medical bills, insurance, employment, and academic records in order to prepare detailed chronologies of injuries, damages, expenses, and other losses. Oversee all discovery for multiple cases for all stages of litigation. Prepare discovery documents and correspondence seeking information from opposing counsel and third parties. Prepare for mediation, including drafting statements and summaries. Prepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness folders. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications: Must have a paralegal associate's degree or other relevant certification. Should preferably have an Associate's degree. Must have 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Must have the ability to efficiently review, analyze and summarize medical, employment, and academic records; have the applicable knowledge of discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc; be highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; have strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail; and extensive computer and database expertise.
