Junior Associate Attorney - Information Technology Candidate will involve significant work on information technology matters, including, drafting and negotiating software purchase and development agreements, end user license agreements, and working with clients to develop privacy and security policies as well as advising clients on data sharing. Will also involve significant work in the healthcare space, including advising clients on HIPAA compliance, physician licensing, fee splitting, as well as other healthcare regulatory matters. Qualifications: Information technology or computer science degree or relevant work experience. Strong academic background. Florida Bar license (or to be admitted within a year of being hired). 1+ years of technology, regulatory, and transactional experience. Experience with drafting a variety of technology agreements, developing policies and procedures, and providing legal advice on compliance matters. Experience with various privacy and security regulations and frameworks, including HIPAA and NIST. Experience with advising clients on regulatory compliance (healthcare preferred). Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Demonstrated understanding of contract drafting fundamentals. Demonstrated ability to listen and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with capability to explain complex legal principles to non-experts in a succinct and understandable manner. Detail oriented problem-solver with ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities. Commitment to expeditious, high-quality service to clients and the dedication to work the hours it takes to meet those expectations. Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Collegial and collaborative mindset, with a client first attitude. Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to diversity.Previous law firm experience. Able and willing to work daily in the Tampa Florida office. Proficient in standard law firm technology, including the Microsoft Office family of products and Lexis Advance.
