Legal Secretary The candidate will provide secretarial/administrative support for one of our busy litigation groups. Seeking a candidate that is dependable, who has a consistent work schedule, a strong work ethic, and has demonstrated a history of working efficiently in a confidential legal environment. Should have 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary. Accurate preparation of legal documents. Responsible for all legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials. Schedule, calendar, set up conference rooms and confirm appointments. Drafting and typing office letters, memos, etc. Mail, scan, and e-file documents. Other duties as assigned. This position requires a thorough understanding of legal secretary administration. Must have legal experience, skills and knowledge in relevant filings, e-filings, briefs, maintaining files, calendaring and legal rules. Excellent communication, oral and written. Ability to accurately draft documents using correct formatting and error free punctuation and grammar. Have strong organizational and follow up skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and document management systems. E- filing experience. Minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary preferred.
