Criminal Defense Attorney Candidate must have: JD degree and admission to the State Bar of Texas is required. 1-2 years of experience in criminal law. Jury trial experience and/or law school clinic experience requested. Previous experience in Central Texas Counties courts, including Travis County, Hays County, and Williamson County, etc. is a plus. Any additional experience with Spanish-speaking clients is highly favorable. Strong oral advocacy skills with a preference for prior litigation experience. Ability to work independently and in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to manage own docket with limited supervision. Ability to work well with people of diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
