Family Law Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for assisting with case management, e-filing, scheduling and calendaring, drafting pleadings, preparing financial disclosures, child support worksheets, maintenance worksheets, preparation of propounded discovery and discovery responses, and exhibits and exhibit notebooks. Must be able to work independently, have a strong work ethic, and have strong and effective communication skills. Must be very organized, be able to communicate effectively, and the ability to prioritize tasks, and be familiar with the Rules of Civil Procedure, specifically C.R.C.P. 16.2, 45, and C.R.C.P. Rule 121 and other rules are absolutely necessary. and the Uniform Dissolution of Marriage Act. Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, E-filing, Adobe Acrobat, and E-Filing. Must also be well versed in the typical processes for family law cases, understanding the applicable court rules, the issues involved, and the process for preparing for hearings. The candidate should have 5 years of family law experience.
