Attorney Candidate will work for employment litigation department. Will represents plaintiffs in employment, workers' compensation, and personal injury matters in state and federal courts. Manage own workload without a ton of supervision. Initial pre-filing case work-up under the direction of the supervising attorney. Client meetings. Drafting complaints. Propounding and responding to discovery. Taking and defending depositions. Conducting case related investigation. Law and motion work. Trial preparation work. Qualifications: Will have an excellent academic background with a high law school class ranking, excellent multitasking and organizational skills, an ability to work with and report to others, and, above all, must be detail oriented with a commitment to excellence. 1-3 years of employment litigation experience is preferred. Must also have a demonstrated interest in civil rights law, litigation, and a drive to fight for the underrepresented. Excellent professionalism and communication skills. Excellent research and writing skills. Some litigation experience. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
