Legal Secretary The candidate will be performing a variety of administrative and secretarial duties, including drafting legal correspondence, assisting in editing documents, filing and e-filing pleadings in various state and federal jurisdictions, filing office paperwork (including hardcopy and on computer), indexing and updating case information in our database, managing the firm calendar, answering phones, maintaining & ordering office supplies, and communicating with attorneys, clients and court personnel. Should have 3+ years prior administrative work experience in a law office environment supporting attorneys. Must have computer skills, including proficiency in using Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Adobe, eCopy. Should have strong understanding of the legal process with knowledge of legal terminology. Must have typing skills with special attention to grammar and accuracy.
