Paralegal The candidate will obtain, review, and organize medical records. Will serve in insurance coverage investigation. Prepare, calculate, and maintain damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage. Balance verifications and assist with subrogation lien resolution. Prepare and forward medical records to insurance carriers and defense counsel. Communicate and correspond with clients regarding case status. Assist attorney with settlement documentation and disbursements. Prepare disbursement summaries. Prepare check requests, maintain check records, and mail checks to vendors. Log daily mail.
The candidate should preferably have Bachelor's degree. Paralegal certificate preferred. Relevant work experience of 3-5 years is essential. Must be articulate, organized team player with excellent grammar and writing skills. Solid organizational and interpersonal communication skills essential. Must be highly proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. Working knowledge of Needles Case Management software is a plus.
