Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal The candidate will review foreclosure referrals and loan documents. Prepare demand letters and tracking of expiration dates. Review of title searches and ability to identify minor title issues. Prepare assignments and forward the same for execution and recording. Prepare complaints and file of same with applicable courts. Prepare documents for service, act as liaison with sheriffs or constables, and monitor of completion of service. File judgment or submit documents to courts in support of judgment. Draft notices of sale, review of publications, and monitor sale process in general. Review of bid instructions and prepare of auction package. Prepare foreclosure deed and support documents for execution and recording. Monitor and update lender/servicer websites to ensure compliance. Should have an Associate's degree in paralegal studies and/or certificate in paralegal studies preferred. Working experience of 2+ years as a paralegal is required. Must be highly confidential to protect the client's privacy rights. Should be a team player, capable of working independently, and be able to prioritize multiple deadlines. Litigation / Foreclosure background is preferred. Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills verbally and through written electronic correspondence are required. Strong organizational skills with advanced problem solving, the ability to multitask, and detail-oriented skills are required. The ability to read legal terms and conditions and understand their meaning and application to work processes is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters is required. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines are required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. The ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment is required. The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and good judgment is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is required.
