Attorney Recruiting and Development Assistant Duties: Processing associate and summer associate applications using the viRecruit database; Processing vendor invoices, expenses and reimbursements for associates and summer associates as they relate to travel, meals, hotels, moving, bar and other reimbursements; Assisting in the preparation of Hiring Committee meetings by printing and binding candidate materials; Preparing and organizing orientation documents for incoming associates and summer associates, including maintaining the firm s intranet portal and extranet forms; Provide logistical support for internal and external social events for attorneys and summer associates; Assisting with on-campus interviewing (OCI) by: Submitting law school registration forms and fees; Generating interview materials through Symplicity; Coordinating with various career services offices; and Greeting and escorting applicants at the firm. Providing general administrative support by organizing candidate files and expenses, processing department mail and booking conference rooms; and Attending WALRAA/NALP meetings/events as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a law firm recruiting department or law school career services office is preferred. Must be detail-oriented and organized, and will exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times. Must have the ability to prioritize workload while working in a fast-paced environment, and work both independently and with all levels of the firm and department personnel. Must also be available for overtime, including evenings and weekends, during the heavy recruiting period (May-October). Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of viRecruit is a plus.
