Washington, D.C. office seeks a regional marketing and communications manager with 5+ years of relevant experience. The candidate will work with the Director of Marketing, Manager of Business Development and members of the marketing department in supporting the marketing and communications efforts of the firm. Prepare proposals for new and existing clients, including responses to formal requests for proposals. Responsible for client relationship management and the development of new business for existing clients. Research and analysis of potential new client opportunities. Develop and execute regional marketing and business development strategies. Gather and disseminate information regarding key firm and regional clients. Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities, speaking engagements, conferences and other marketing-related events. Media and public relations strategy and outreach. Create and maintain office-specific marketing materials for use on the firm's Web site and in firm promotional and business development materials. Track and analyze marketing and business development activities and the communication to firm management and practice group leaders. The candidate must have a B.A. degree. J.D., M.B.A., or similar advanced study is preferred. Understanding of the basic skills involved in successful media communications and a demonstrated ability to work with reporters and prosecute media campaigns required. Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint is essential. Travel will be required.
