Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will be drafting correspondences, responding to emails, and handling phone calls. Maintaining physical and electronic files. Calendaring multiple agendas and providing reminders. Scheduling depositions, mediations, and conferences. Assisting with initial case interview and intake. E-filing legal documents. Transcribing and proofreading legal documents. Processing third-party and vendor invoices. Filing, organizing, scanning, copying, and transmitting documents. Maintaining office supplies. Processing client billing. Assisting with general office administration and maintenance. Performing some legal research and drafting occasional memos. Drafting Discovery requests and responses. Drafting various pleadings. Should have 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal; demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor; computer literate and proficient with various Microsoft Office programs. Should have superior written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in other languages is a plus. Should preferably have Bachelor's degree. Should preferably have 1 year Microsoft Office.
