Legal Secretary The candidate are team players with superior level communication and interpersonal skills, must be able to work with a variety of people. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, positive, proactive, and professional. Ideal candidates will have current legal, secretarial experience. Strong secretarial skills, experience with Microsoft office, excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and other employees. Excellent verbal communication skills necessary to communicate by telephone and provide information and training with courtesy and tact. Ability to work successfully as a team member or independently being flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment. Ability to learn new skills, software programs, and procedures, and acquire new knowledge. General working knowledge of normal office equipment including copiers, facsimile, and postage machines.
