The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented, highly organized individual with a strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and electronic filing procedures. Responsibilities: * Assist attorneys in preparation of documents in all aspects of litigation (correspondence, pleadings, briefs, discovery), calendar meetings, depositions, hearings and trials, as well as respective due dates. * Detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and electronic filing procedures; proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word - tables of contents/authorities, Excel and Publisher), LexisNexis; strong document review/management skills, FoxIt Phantom pdf software; maintain case files and attorneys' calendars; summarize records (medical, employment, education, financial, etc); prepare deposition subpoenas/notices; discovery responses/requests. * Must haves: strong attention to detail; resourceful, self starter, take initiative; MS Word advanced features skills, including preparation of TOA and TOC; excellent communication, organization and administrative skills; be able to work independently as well as part of a team; at least two years experience working in a law office.
