Immigration and Injury Attorney The candidate must be admitted to practice in Connecticut and must be fluent in English and Spanish. This position carries a strong preference for attorneys that speak both Spanish and Portuguese. 1 year or previous legal clinic work in immigration, trial practice or a similar area is required. This position has a heavy concentration in removal (deportation) defense work in Immigration Court, juvenile petitions, political asylum applications, appellate work, legal brief writing and family-based visa petitions. Must also be comfortable appearing in Connecticut state courts on Workers' Compensation matters and Personal Injury Matters.
