Criminal Associate Attorney The candidate will assist the criminal partner to handle the firm's criminal defense case load. Maintain continuous contact with Clients and exceed Client expectations. Handle all aspects of misdemeanor and felony case progression from intake to trial. Attend court dates, hearings, trials and meetings. Investigate cases, draft deviation requests, prepare, file and argue motions, negotiate resolutions or go to trial. Spanish proficiency is preferred, but not required. At least 2-years of criminal law experience is preferred. Must have ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies. should have ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
