We are looking for a forward-thinking team player who is determined to succeed and is passionate about customer service. Our Paralegals must be organized, energetic problem-solvers, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LITIGATION PARALEGAL As a Litigation Paralegal, you work hand-in-hand with our attorneys, handling the day-to-day work for our litigation cases from inception to settlement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Our Paralegals are drafting discovery, preparing for trial, and ensuring our clients and attorneys are happy. Your positive, can-do attitude makes you a joy to work with for both clients and staff alike. You must be able to prioritize tasks effectively and function under pressure from deadlines. You must also have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain knowledge of law firm policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LITIGATION PARALEGAL * Minimum of 2 years experience in a law firm as a Paralegal, specific to Nursing Home cases * Experience with Personal Injury on Plaintiffs side or Defense side * Excellent computer and typing skills * Ability to maintain knowledge of law firm policies and procedures * Attention to detail with ability to multi-task * The urgency to provide above-and-beyond customer service * Flexibility and resilience in an ever-evolving atmosphere * Sound judgment * The ability to maintain strict confidentiality WORK SCHEDULE This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm position.
