Trademark Paralegal The candidate will be primarily responsible for paralegal duties supporting the Trademark Law Team in IP department. Will be responsible for some patent work such as overflow prosecution work (foreign and domestic) and handling of annuities. Trademark support work responsibilities include, but are not limited to: docketing of all US and foreign filings; administration and maintenance of domestic, foreign and international trademark files/records, including creating correspondence to and communicating with clients and foreign counsel; conducting trademark searches; preparing dockets and trademark summaries; preparing assignments; preparing paperwork for filings and assisting attorneys with the application and renewal processes. Patent responsibilities will include preparing and filing national stage applications, electronic filings with the USPTO and handling of all annuities. The candidate must have an Associate A?A s Degree or higher, or equivalent of experience. 2 years direct experience. Must have proven experience with and knowledge of the USPTO search, trademark and patent filing systems and with the procedures and practices regarding application and registration of US and foreign trademarks and patents. Must have strong verbal and written skills, attention to detail, organization and a sense of urgency. Docketing software experience required.
