Litigation Attorney The candidate will be drafting pleadings, briefs, memos, and discovery requests/responses. Conducting legal research. Investigating the factual and legal viability of potential cases. Working with expert witnesses. Attending and covering motions and other court hearings, presenting oral arguments, and taking and defending depositions. Preparing for and participating in trials. Monitoring cases in order to satisfy deadlines. Exploring and implementing ways to maximize case value. Communicating with clients with compassion and empathy in a manner that encourages their confidence and trust. Supporting attorneys and staff within the litigation team. 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred. Should have 1st or 2nd chair trial experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. South Carolina license is a plus. North Carolina license required.
