Paralegal Duties : Will collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and estate planning documents. Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions. Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems.
Requirements : The candidate should have Associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a Bachelor's degree preferred. Should have 1-5 years of experience as an legal assistant (preferably in a law firm or legal department), legal secretary, or paralegal. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor. Strong knowledge of WordPerfect and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
