Contract Paralegal The candidate will join Workers' Compensation practice group to assist during a team member's planned Leave. Duties will include: supporting multiple attorneys; drafting responses to Discovery Demands; drafting mediation statements, pretrial statements, and IME/IVE cover letters; negotiating with intervenors; requesting and summarizing medical records; requesting employment, DOLI and SSA files; and other duties as files require and attorneys request. Desired qualifications include 2-4 years of experience in Workers Compensation, proficiency in typing and in the use of Microsoft software. Experience working with ProLaw is desired. This is a contract position that will last approximately 14 weeks, beginning in August.
