Attorney Recruiting & Development Specialist Duties: Under the general supervision and direction of the Attorney Recruiting and Development Manager, and following prescribed department, office and firm procedures, responsible for providing assistance within the Attorney Recruiting and Development Department and for assisting with all aspects of the Texas office s attorney recruiting and development functions. Perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm s clients, attorneys, advisors and staff, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Fulfill the needs of the firm in a manner which is consistent with the Firm s Core Values. Assist in planning and executing the Dallas Summer Associate program, including but not limited to monitoring Summer Associate workload reports, responding to day-to-day Summer Associate questions and/or concerns, assigning attorney mentors, budgeting and organizing social events. Participate in all Dallas Summer Associate events. Support and promote on-campus recruiting events and interviews for the Texas offices, including organizing and hosting hospitality suites, booking attorney travel, preparing materials, scheduling interviews, meeting candidates, and tracking and facilitating follow up with attorneys for evaluations. Enter and maintain applicant data and correspondence in recruiting database for all Texas offices. Assist in all aspects of interview scheduling which may include booking travel and hotel and generating candidate correspondence. Work with the Attorney Recruiting and Development Manager Texas and the Attorney. Recruiting and Development Coordinator in Houston with recruiting, professional development/training, diversity and women s initiative events and committee meetings as needed. Attend Recruiting Administrators of Dallas meetings and events. Process check requests and expense reports. Additional tasks and projects as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years of experience in an administrative position required, with at least one year of experience in legal recruiting in a law firm desired. Ability to read, write and speak English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong service orientation and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and attorneys. Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. Ability to manage multiple projects with specific deadlines and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to use initiative and judgment to accomplish results. Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail.
