Family Law Paralegal Candidate will handle drafting and answering discovery, drafting pleadings, trial preparation, and significant contact with clients, courts and other attorneys. Must have 2+ years experience handling divorce and family law matters, must be able to reflect outstanding legal writing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Must have experience practicing in criminal defense. Must have prior knowledge of family law (divorce, custody, support matters, etc.). able to handle cases from beginning to end. Must be able to work independently and must have knowledge of court procedures and deadlines. Familiarity with AbacusLaw would be highly beneficial. Must be a team player with integrity and be able to carry out instruction.
