Paralegal - Post Closing The candidate will maintain a positive attitude while working under deadlines, and the ability to multi-task. Review loan documents for any exceptions, and subsequently clear exceptions and deal with any post closing issues, under attorney supervision. Be responsible for ensuring that the final loan package is neatly assembled in the correct stacking order, completed, and shipped within given timeframe. Scan and save closing documents into our closing software and within lender portals. Notate files properly for historical records into our closing software. Transmit files electronically to relevant parties. Ship files via overnight delivery to lenders/mortgage insurance companies. Ship disbursement checks to the correct parties. Responsible for preparing PT-61, e-recording or shipping out documents to the correct county for recording, under attorney supervision. Attend to all post-closing requests received after closing as directed by the attorney. Should have 4+ years experience as a Post-Closer and know this role inside and out. Experience with Qualia is a plus. Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills required. Strong technology skills and the ability to work in several systems required. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, and fellow team members.
