Intellectual Property Trademark Associate The candidate should have 2-4 years of prior intellectual property trademark experience. Knowledge and experience should include trademark portfolio management, prosecuting trademark applications, acquisition and sale of intellectual property assets, intellectual property licensing, and other transactional matters. Experience managing international trademark portfolios and foreign counsel is a plus. Experience with intellectual property disputes, including federal courts, before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and before arbitral panels in domain dispute resolution proceedings is necessary. Software licensing and e-commerce is highly desired. Should have excellent writing and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and an ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. Candidates should be licensed to practice law in the state for the office to which they apply (VA or NC) or have the ability to immediately waive in.
