Bilingual Virginia Licensed Immigration Attorney Duties: Provide legal representation in immigration, naturalization, and citizenship concerns in family, employment, and business matters. Prepare and submit appropriate labor department and immigration cases/filings. Coordinate required immigration notices/postings, track and maintain public access files and PERM audit files. Prepare, review and submit forms in support of various immigrant and non-immigrant petitions. Keep abreast of government, regulatory and other pertinent standards, requirements or information regarding employment of individuals on work visas and authorizations, and any changes in US and non-US immigration law. Generate new clients and represent the law firm in promotional activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Admission to Virginia state bar required, Additional bars a plus. Bilingual required, Spanish preferred. Multilingual a plus. 1+ years of immigration law experience; overlapping experience handling criminal and business matters a plus. Prefer graduates in the top 1/3 of their law school class and law journal experience. Knowledge of immigration law in countries outside of North America a plus Ability to handle a demanding immigration caseload, and accommodate unanticipated spikes in workload while maintaining flexibility under pressure required. Strong writing and organizational skills, strategic thinker and able to work proactively with minimal supervision required.
