Paid time off Trusts and Estates Paralegal Law Firm is seeking to hire a full-time trusts and estates paralegal to provide support services including document preparation and review; monitoring ongoing cases; and meeting with clients. The position will be primarily located at the Redwood City, CA office with regular work hours from Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5 pm. The salary will be between $80,000 and $90,000 commensurate with experience plus possible bonus. The position also includes benefits such as 401k. Qualifications: ? Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree required ? Some related experience preferred ? Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters ? Positive attitude with a client service mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to relate and interact with diverse clientele ? Comfortable with complicated math ? Demonstrate strong writing and oral communication skills ? Excellent organization skills ? Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ? Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment ? Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment ? Must be a self-starter and able to identify initial and next steps needed ? Demonstrated ability to work independently ? Be comfortable navigating responsibilities with limited direction among multiple stakeholders ? Proficient computer application skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and additional software applications Job Responsibilities: ? Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects ? Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys ? Help attorneys prepare estate planning documents ? Draft deeds and other real property documents ? Help attorneys prepare gift and estate tax returns ? Draft judicial council forms and other court pleadings ? Assist clients with marshaling assets from financial institutions ? Monitor ongoing cases ?
