Paralegal - Workers' Compensation Defense Under general supervision, and according to established polices and procedures, the candidate will support the delivery of quality legal services to clients by providing assistance to attorneys, performing complex and specialized tasks, and working collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. Observe confidentiality of client matters. Certification by NALA or Florida Registered Paralegal preferred. Prior Worker's Compensation Defense experience required. Strong computer proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; demonstrated understanding of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation required. Ability: to work effectively and proactively within a team environment; to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and to meet deadlines required. Strong: organizational skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail; time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment required. Experience using Aderant Total Office f/k/a Client Profiles a plus.
