Family Law Paralegal The candidate will do preparation of initial, temporary, and final pleadings, including discovery and inventories. Strict adherence to case and time sensitive deadlines. Assist with maintaining office calendar. Assist with filing and setting hearings. Client interaction. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain case status log. Maintain professional and courteous relationship with Court personnel, opposing counsel/parties, and clients. Serve as back-up during absence of office staff. Office hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday. 2 years experience, as family law paralegal required. Familiar with Word and Excel required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required. Must be familiar with Court procedures for filing and setting hearing. Familiar with the Texas Family Code and Practice Manual required. High School Diploma required. Paralegal certificate and/or degree preferred but can be substituted with work experience.
