Personal Injury Attorney The candidate should be an experienced Personal Injury Attorney. The job requires working in conjunction with attorneys and support staff. Being able to read, speak, and write in Spanish is a plus. An Attorney in the position will help lead the Personal Injury department and acquire information needed to prepare for hearings, closings, trials, and corporate meetings. Will also handle settlements, successions, wills, and notary work. An Attorney needs to be able to take a file from intake to trial with little supervision. At least 3 years of experience in Personal Injury law preferred.New attorneys who recently passed the bar encouraged to apply. Should have Juris Doctorate and ability to practice in Louisiana; Advanced knowledge in personal injury law; Superior organizational and time management skills; Advanced written and verbal communication skills; Ability to delegate and supervise. Will represent clients in court or before government agencies; Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients; Advise clients on legal issues; Negotiate settlements for legal disputes; Comply with all legal standards and regulations; Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
