Paralegal/Legal Assistant - Family Law The candidate will be meeting with clients and opposing counsel. Ideal candidate has strong technical skills, is organized, gets along well with others, is detail-oriented, and has excellent writing skills along with the ability draft motions, pleadings, affidavits, and other legal documents. You must have the ability to work independently and accomplish tasks in a timely manner. Will handle substantive legal work on a daily basis - new cases, discovery process, pretrial preparation, trial, post-trial and appellate work, settlements and general paralegal responsibilities. Minimum 3 years experience as a family law paralegal/legal assistance background required. Bachelor's degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred. Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required, At least three (3) years of paralegal work experience (litigation experience required), Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Must be highly organized and possess excellent communication skills, Previous experience in a fast-paced, high pressure environment required, Ability to communicate and work well within a team environment required.
