Business Immigration Attorney The candidate will work with corporate contacts, foreign nationals, other paralegals and attorneys. Will evaluate case strategy for NIV matters. Review nonimmigrant filings prepared by staff members including support letters, forms, and documents in advance of submission to government agencies. Advise and liaise with client stakeholders on corporate strategies. Draft responses and motions to government agencies when applicable. Other duties include preparing, filing, and monitoring cases pending with government agencies; responding to queries from foreign clients and requesting documents from corporate contacts. Licensed to practice law in United States, California licensure preferred. 3 years of experience in the business immigration field in a high-volume environment essential. Must have experience reviewing cases prepared by others required. Substantive expertise in understanding the rules for NIV needed. Experience managing complex issues and relaying those concepts in an easy to understand format to clients essential. Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written are a must.
