Family Law - Associate Attorney The candidate will effectively communicate with clients, staff, opposing attorneys, and the court. Make court appearances. Prepare, review and edit legal documents including declarations, Memorandum of Points and Authorities, motions, and discovery. Audit and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy. Assist with case management and meeting deadlines. Prepare for hearings and trial preparations. Perform miscellaneous job duties related to the position. Efficient billing of time spent. Must be licensed by California State Bar and in good standing. Must have 3+ years of Family Law experience. Have thorough knowledge of legal principles & practices. Must possess critical thinking skills, planning, and organizing skills. Strong communication skills are essential. Have attention to detail and accuracy. Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Be proficient in computer knowledge/skills. Be proficient in Word Perfect, Word, Essential Forms, Google Calendar, and Dissomaster. Have experience with Infusion Soft, TimeSlips, and Attorney s Briefcase a plus. The ability to handle multiple job duties effectively and efficiently is needed. Must be reliable, dependable, with a positive, professional attitude & demeanor. Spanish speaking is a plus.
