Attorney Assistant Duties: Assist clients with both Social Security Disability and Veterans Disability Benefits claims. Will be assisting with prospective clients to see if we can help them. Will have to be warm and friendly. You will also have to be persistent and dedicated. will be preparing files in a case management system, sending encrypted emails, and helping process files for the attorney. You will need to learn about VA law and documents. Requirements: Two-year degree or higher is a plus. Excellent reading and comprehension skills. Above average organizational skills. A desire to do clerical type work and tasks that may vary on a daily basis. Active Listening Skills. Ability to express empathy. Ability to multi-task effectively. 45 WPM typing speed. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Above-average Proficiency with computers and office equipment. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
