Associate Attorney The candidate will be meeting with prospective clients and current clients and developing case strategies. Preparing and making court appearances. Drafting letters and pleadings. Multi-tasking between several practice areas, if needed. Reaching billing requirements. Traveling to surrounding counties, if needed. Delegating work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitoring the work. Generating new clients. The candidate should preferably have Doctorate degree. Must be a member of the North Carolina State Bar and in good standing. 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in the area of family and/or immigration. Capacity to handle cases and clients independently (after a period of orientation and monitored work). Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred. Strong communication, research and writing skills is required.
