Paralegal / Adjuster The candidate will work under the direction of an attorney in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm assisting attorneys with the workup and closure of personal injury cases. Will work with a team of paralegal case managers to prepare settlement demand packages to claims adjusters and monitor and facilitate case closure. Must have significant experience in insurance claim adjustment preferably involving the Florida market; the ability to evaluate coverage, limitations, exclusions, etc.; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Should have significant understanding of insurance claim adjustment and claim negotiation process; and possess excellent negotiating skills. Should have 5+ years' work experience in this field. Special consideration given to an applicant with experience in managing a team; taking recorded statements; and licensed insurance adjusting.
