Civil Litigation Attorney The candidate will conduct the initial interview with the client and screen potential clients; legal research. Draft petitions, answers, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Assist with court appearances or appearing in court to handle hearing on own; partners with prep for depositions and eventually taking/defending depos. Review and analyze document production. Participate in drafting and responding to written discovery. Communicate with clients. Interview witnesses. Participate in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution procedures. Must have 3 years of experience as a civil litigator, has extreme attention to detail, thinks creatively, and possesses an entrepreneurial attitude; enjoy working independently but also as part of a team; a Texas Bar license; proficiency in Microsoft 365; excellent proofreading and research skills; superb attention to detail. Must be highly organized.
